Currently, in state government, all pet welfare issues are directed to agriculture - livestock producers. Pet issues and the needs of those who care for these animals are unique and require a board with staff who are experts in pet welfare. |
Bill and Bill Status
The Companion Animal Board (CAB) bill (S.F. 1136 / H.F. 1168) will establish a state board in Minnesota that will prioritize pet issues, providing the leadership, expertise and oversight for these animals and the people who provide care. |
